Has anyone come across the "eBuyer Feedback" website before?

Just stumbled upon this website, it seems to be somewhere for sellers to leave their own feedback for "bad" buyers, and you can sign up to a list so you're alerted if one of their flagged buyers bids on any of your items.

Has anyone used this before? I just looked up a buyer on there (who I can see being a problem) and it's not showing anything, but it claims to have "5279595 total eBay feedback of linked accounts" so I guess it's working for someone!

I've just had a quick look see, I love the first Detailed Buyers Rating, for
Reading Ability, brilliant.

I'd never heard of the site but am going to put a few of my blocked bidders in to see whether they're in there.

Once I've heard of a buyer in the states with v. high fb, who purchases stuff for Japanese clients, as a business.

I think it's a bit pathetic, just a sad way for some sellers to get their own back.
Retaliatory feedback coming back through the back door...

There are plenty of threads here and on ebay from buyers complaining about not being able to leave fb for buyers, time to get over it, it's been like that since 2008.

I wasn't really sure whether it was a good or a bad thing (despite me looking up the buyer - I couldn't imagine actually leaving the feedback, only looking it up).

This morning I logged on to find a neutral from a buyer...because he hasn't fitted the part yet!! How the hell is that our fault?

So I changed my mind. If there really are buyers who are that useless out there, then I think sellers need some kind of warning.

Also loving the "Reading Ability" rating! :rotfl:

Did you actually send someone a part, through the post, you didn't go & fit it to make sure it was done correctly?
Shame on you.
I'm surprised that you only got a neutral, I would have thought that should be a neg for sure.
Someone who obviously doesn't realise they have 60? days to leave FB.

I'm not saying that buyers are always wise, I got my share of stupid feedback, but it's just not much use to waste time posting feedback on a different site.
You can block buyers, but you can't go and check fb of anyone bidding on your items (without mentioning BINs). I just can't see any point in it, except help some buyers feel that they can get their own back.

In reality sellers who have time to check their buyers with lists from this site have what too much time on their hands and may need to look at therir business plans and their prorities. In reality what use is it. Even if you check everyone who ever bids on an item (lifes too short for that) what will happen if a buyer from one of their lists snipes your sale. What can you actually do about it? Not a lot really you refuse the sale and you risk DSRs and FB. In reality the way to avoid bad buyers is to be a good seller.

This site is really just full of childsih bitter sellers spending their time doing something pretty pointless. They in reality are probably the ones fee avoiding and giving dodgy terms and conditions that attract the dodgy buyers.

I agree with Terra Firma its pretty Pathetic really.

There are millions and millions of buyers on eBay. What chance have you of coming across one listed on that site, or named/shamed on someone else's listings? If they don't pay you have recourse to eBay tools. If they do pay, you need to make sure they're kept happy - that's just business. Yes, there are some foolish people or some downright scammers out there, but it's an exercise in futility really when you think about it.

I know, how very dare we! They've replied saying they didn't realise a neutral was a bad thing

Just to play devils advocate here, what about customers who continually play the "item not received" card? If you were signed up to the email alerts you could then make sure the item is sent via a suitable tracked method?
