    TT do not 'have a bar'. But they will have LLU'd your line, which means that it cannot easily be switched directly to another LLU service, as explained above.
    Orange are never going to be able to manage to do it for you, so if you want to switch to them (not a good idea) you'll need to do a return to donor back to BT first.

    Or you can transfer Phone & broadband to Plusnet all online for a 12 month contract (I've done it) , has advantage that transfer is done the same day so time without broadband is limited to a couple of hours £38.38 cashback on topcashback :- Probably as they're a BT subsidiary they're offering the option that not many others do at the moment.

    Plusnet is a non-LLU service, so the LLU to LLU issue does not arise.

    Agreed - The Plusnet option was mentioned as it is an alternative of going to BT direct for a return to donor and, as they do a simultaneous provide of line and broadband you are only without broadband for a couple of hours, as opposed to doing a return to donor with BT and then taking a (non BT) broadband package that would entail a longer downtime.
