A good incentive as usually get bored of entering comps!

Bet that took you a fair while - assume you had an autofill?Weight Loss - 102lb0 -
Count me in too. I haven't done much comping before, but would like to start in 2007 as something to fill the breaks from my essays...! I pay £5 a month (5 people sharing a house on NTL at £24.99 a month) so I would need to win back £60.
Great idea OP.0 -
My internet costs £20 per month, so £240. Could well be on my way as I'm top in a few competitions at the moment, though I guess the last few days are when I'm likely to lose top spotmatched betting: £879.63

Im not paying my internet bill, but i will join in to try and cover the cost that my parents pay (signed up a few days ago to help with the email thing after lurking for ages to sign up for the monthly news letter which helps thoughs in a worse situation than me - thanks fluffynit and the others that kept me coming back)
got to say though those piggy backing the free internet may be saving them selves internet connection fees .. but if they are piggy backing other users they may cost them a fortune which sort of defeats the object (passing on bills to others doesnt count .. should put you more in debt imo) ... in an emergency id use someone elses connectection but we pay for a fast connection and we get automatically billed if we go over as weve got fast connection limited download... so you may be saving yourselves moeny but costing others a fortune if your using theres/others regularly with excess charges ... not the spirit of the site.
Aim to win about £240 worth in the next year .. been entering about 3 months so far as a non memebr .. total winining £00.00

This site doesn't condone illegal activity to save money. I expect people who are doing this are not using it for downloads. You will find moist people using this site our considerate and any money making tips are from a genuine desire to help others. However you made a very valid point square. I make very occaisional downloads and would not piggyback someone else's connection to do this. I hadn't thought of that. I wonder what poeple do when they get billed for excess downloads?
It would be a shame to see this thread closed, so please everyone read what has been said, but don't get into long arguments.0 -
Hi,
I'll join in too please. I've won a couple of books, money and an ipod before, then stopped winning anything so stopped comping. 2007 is going to be a lucky one I've decided so count me in.
PS If anyone has a wireless connection that is not secured please do it. If you are not sure how, ask on the techie board. If you don't secure it and someone does something dodgy on your account (downloads, nasty !!!!!! etc) you could be held responsible for it, as it is in your name.0 -
Just testing out my signature to see how it looks! Looking forward to this challenge:)0

I found out today that the connection I'm using belongs to my next door neighbour and he is happy for me to use it. He didn't realise other people could access it so he is now going to make it secure and give me the key.0
