Thanks Prudent, never knew how to do a sig. (Hope it works).
I enter comps daily on loquax, so far only one win online this year. Some moisturiser. Won a bottle of whiskey at a charity night on a raffle. Lots of little wins last year but still waiting for my biggy.0 -

Welcome. I hope you do well too. Our main key to success is persistence. Enter lots of comps and you increase your chances of winning. Hundreds of comps are added to the forum each week, so you won't be short of things to enter.0 -

Just had another thought....if I win an item and then sell it on ebay do I class that as original retail price or my earnings for e-bay sale in my total?

I think what ever you feel. Some comp promotors put a silly value on prizes - no self respecting mser would ever pay that much for them. I think most people look at places they would normally shop like Amazon or Argos to get an idea of value.
I rarely sell prizes. I tend to use them as pressies instead as I have a lot of pressies to buy. A while ago I won a child's vtech games console and game and although I do buy presssies for young children they are smaller value pressies. I decided to sell it on ebay and got £60 between the two. DD and I took the money to a car boot and came home with several hundred pounds worth of stuff. So I guess if you sell something worth £20 for £8, but then be a good mser and get £25 worth of stuff on spending the money, then £20 is fair.0 -

Well done. You can put the offline wins in your signature too, seperate from comping challenge wins. Its encouarging to see what everyone is winning. We seem to be having a bumper year.0
