A laptop is my goal too - OH is starting to moan about be being on the computer all the time:A
So if I got a laptop at least he would see me (while I was on the computer)

Welcome Narla, I used to enter a lot of postal comps too, but found the returns better online and it was costing any extra. I am doing some postal comps fr February and March as I am taking advantage of the Lloyds save the change lophole to get four stamps for 4p, so the cost is very low.0

Four stamps for 4p????? Please can you explain?
I think I'd have withdrawal symptoms if I gave up postal entries completely - besides I have to have something to do when others are on the computer!0 -
You may be too late to get in on this loophole now. LLoyds tsb was offering all debit card holders the opportunity to join a scheme called save the change. If you register and have an ltsb savings acount they will give you up to £50 per month in Feb and March on saved change. It works like this:
pay for something at £1.10. Lloyds tsb take £2 out of your account. £1.10 going to the retailer the other £0.90 being put into your savings account. Whatever you put in they match up to £50.
I buy 3x 2nd class stamps and 1 x 1st class stamps. This coast £1.01. LLoyds give me 99p back through the above promotion and I have 4 stamps for 4p.
I buy 4 stamps at 2 different post offices evey day. Over a month that is a lot of stamps. Fantastic for very cheap comping.0 -
Yay, I've completed the challenge. Not bad before the 3rd month of the year eh. Done it in dribs and drabs like, not romped home like some people but I've done it all the same.
Actually I wouldn't have done it yet had I not rang BT last week and saved £5 a month for 12 months + got the home hub and everything for free.

Nice one Strepsy. Still nothing here... it must be my time soon. I guess I'm hoping for the big win rather than dribs and drabs, but anything will do to be honest!!Life is all about the journey.0
