Hello there, I'd like to join as I think this is a great idea and shall put my vote in for Prudent.

    Good luck everyone!! xxx

Hello and welcome. Thank you for your vote. The biggest reward for me though is seeing the number of people that are motivated by this. I am especially delighted to see people from the debt free board. So many people are under stress because of debt and if posting comps can help, then I am delighted to post. Comping has given me little luxuries in times of hardship and given me the chance to experience new things and places. Best of all I have made some friends from it. I like the prizes, but the people are of the greatest value.

I feel like I have entering comps for ever been on here for 3 days, hoping I win something from my efforts :D

Out of curiosity how many comps do you winners enter on average. I have enjoyed it took a bit of a break today so it didn't become a task rather than fun.

Also just entered a code form a Terry's Orange I got from my mum at Xmas and won £5 not sure if I will get it though as I am supposed to send foil wrapper as well as code, but threw wrapper away when I finished it.

So will see what they say,

I have won bits last year dvd,s baking set and other little bits. But took a break from entering so prizes are not coming at mo.
Mummy to 5 beautiful girls and yes it is very hard work lol x :o

Make sure it stays fun, not a task. You will loose interest if its a chore. I don't really know what I enter on avergae. I am a single parent with a high stress and demanding job. Some evenings I am totally exhausted and only enter things that are running for that day only (like newspaper comps). Other days I find it really relaxing to sit on the computer for a couple of hours, just comping away. It can be a bit of escapism for me. I enter a lot of holiday competitions as I just love getting away. When I need to 'shut off', I enjoy looking up the hotels/ destinations.

If I feel its a chore that day, I stop. I work very hard both in my job and in the house. I need areas of my life that are not about responsibilty, so I like to comp, go for long walks and enjoy my cats. I like the other compers too.

Yes I have to say I don't always get on the computer much the kiddies keep me very busy we have had a run of bad luck with my OH job and such. This comping takes my mind off of it and gives me a little hope. :D

I enjoy reading the posts from other members with their wins, gives me hope. Also very busy at the moment planning our wedding in August so any wins are a bonus for us. :D

Thanks for the advise Prudent nice to know people are here to help :j

Just voted for Prudent for post of the month. Its been great entering all the competitions only just started on the 2nd January 2007 not won anything yet but am hopeful the phone call, letter or email will come soon:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

This challenge has given me something to focus on instead of gambling (which i have been trying to stop doing for ages) and it doesn't cost me a penny to enter the competitions.

So a big thanks to you for starting it :T
