Prudent is doing well on the 'best post of the month thread'. It would be lovely if she got some more votes and can win this month!

How do I vote for Prudent??

This is going to be a really silly question to all of you reguars on this thread but I am new and didn't know this existed until I saw someone on the Olympic thread mention this so I searched & found you! Is there a specific place I can go to to see where all these competions are that I can enter? I haven't read the whole thread (apologies) but life is hectic and would like to join in - I love mse and can while away hours on here (if only there was more free time!) I need to recoupe approx £ 140.00.

    Thank you all.

Hello and welcome. Perhaps what you win here could contribute to the Olympic goal? Once you have won your £140, that is. ;):D Prizes can be sold on ebay. Often competitions are promotions of new products, so you can win the things that everyone is after. I won a child's vtech console last year. My dd liked it, but was really too old. I sold it on ebay for just £7 short of the full price and we spent the money at a car boot sale and got masses.

    I've been Money Tipped!
I was thinking for those who have been lucky enough to complete the challenge already. (i've still got a long way to go but paid for first month)

Maybe you could try to win all your families christmas presents this year. Just a though might be fun
For thousands of people this Christmas, their must-have gift is far more vital than the latest gadget or toy – it’s blood. Please don’t let the festivities and cold weather prevent you from giving them the ultimate gift… give blood.

I've never really entered competitions before but read about this thread on the Olympic challenge thread on DFW and I've started entering since then. Have set myself a challenge of entering 100 competitions a week so that's 14 a day. Thanks so much to everyone who posts competitions (I have been thanking everyone I enter!) I've really enjoyed entering them so far and looking forward to my first win :j

Welcome :T If you are prepared to enter that many, you should win prizes. Enter quite a mixture as comps for small prizes don't attract the high volumes of entries that the 'biggies do'. If you are looking to boost your income for the olympic challenge, I would recommend local paper comps as they get much fewer entries and the odds of winning are higher. I pop the entries into their office when shopping and it costs me nothing in postage. I often ask at work if anyone minds me cutting the comps out of the papers that are lying around, that way the papers cost nothing too :D
