2007 comping challenge

The key to winning is persistence. Go for smaller prizes like dvds and your chances will be higher.
I think the odds of winning on the web not nearly so good as they used to be because there are now so many people entering comps.
I am fairly confident I can win the £120 I need.
In December I won a nappy wrapper ( value £29.99) and some Charles worthington hair products (Value £65) and two cinema tickets (value approx £10), so that's juat over £100 in a month.
I gave up comping for some years due to personal issue taking up all my time.
Prior to that I won £2,000 -£3,000 ish worth of prizes per year. I am a single parent with a demanding job so don't have a lot of time, especially in term time. I therefore thought winning back my isp costs was a reasonable aim.0 -

Did you manage to give them away or anything? I worry that I entered things I didn't really want when I first started doing the comps on here but now I only enter things I'd really want to go to. If anyone wins those Bafta tickets and doesn't even want to go, I'll go spare. lol.I've been lucky, I'll be lucky again. ~ Bette Davis0 -

Oh, I won Rapid dough too, I forgot about that one. So probably won the price of year's internet in just a month.0 -

The Rapidough and Dirty Dancing CD I still have - the Rapidough still sealed and never touched but have listened to the Dirty Dancing CD - wasnt over impressed with it to be honest, just waiting for the right time/person to give it to!

Hootie19 wrote:Also - does anyone here do Tombola competition type thing online? http://uk.tombola.com/Default.asp. Just wondering as I have 4600 bonus points to use in the bonus game. However, looking on the list of previous winners for that, it seems that no one has won since October 2004, although it seems to have been won regularly before then. Does anyone else get the same winner date as me??
I won a £5 CDWOW voucher from themTook ages to arrive - and it was sent by e-mail!!
I looked at the competition on there too and did wonder if anyone had won since it either hasn't been updated or no one is winning! Entered a couple of times but can't say I bothered with it.
