Cheapest way to send money to Russia?

Hi All

I was wondering if anyone could PLEASE recommend a cheap but safe way to send money to Russia from the UK.

I am using Western Union but it's too expensive.

Any other companies you would recommend for sending 500 GBP in USD or Rubles every month.

Depending on the recipient, a PrePaid Mastercard may be an option.

Thanks for the replies, I have already found a cheap way to send money to Russia from the UK (not to a bank account but via cash pickup which is fine for me), they charge 1% of total amount being sent, tired them yesterday... very good and quick service, not sure if I can name a company here? Anyways if anyone needs it, pm me I will send you a link.

Thanks a lot for the message, I had a look, it might be good for bank account transfers over 5K but my receiver has not got a bank account and I only send around 500 per month.
