    That sounds like a plan here. After all, of all the things they can negotiate on, that ludicrous £5 charge has to be the most obvious, since the cost for them to receive a BACS or Faster Payment credit is only a few pence.


    Bill credits are best because they put them on INSTANTLY (you can check straight away to be sure it's done). All the fancy deals and promises tend to vanish but a bill credit is a done deal. And most importantly, you maintain the advantage of not being under contract with them.

    The problem with dd is it's Virgin......who almost never keep their word on the price/deal offered. They are a law unto themselves.

    Can anyone see an inconsistency here?
    If you have no income, then isn't subscription TV an unnecessary expense? If you can't get a decent Freeview signal, then Freesat is available almost everywhere for an upfront investment of around £100 for a dish and cabling. You'll recoup that in just a few months and save up to £420pa thereafter.
    No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)
