Cheapest Way to Add Virgin Broadband

Being a Virgin Media customer, who has XL TV and L Phone packages, what is the cheapest way of adding Virgin Broadband. Since I am an existing customer I can't receive Quidco on a Broadband order, nor do I qualify for any half price offers. I have given my 30 day notice and hope to get a call from Retentions, but I'm not sure if they can offer me a good deal as I want to add a new service and not just retain my existing services. Any suggestions?

As you've just cancelled,it'll be a year before you can sign up again.Retentions may call you but don't hold your breath.0

A year? I thought it was three months?
How much are you paying for what you have now OP?0 -
Funnily enough, I thought it was two months. Anyways at the moment I'm paying £50.49 for XL TV with the Asian bundle and L phone.
I just think its a joke that Virgin are charging existing customers £35 per onth to add XXL Broadband, while new customers can get it at £25.0 -

At the moment the OP is still within the 30 days.
The one time I did actually cancel with Virgin, I signed a new, discounted deal within a week so not sure where the year thing comes from.
Now I'm out of contract with them again and have BB only on a month to month basis.
The worst company I've ever dealt with as it relates to keeping their word on deals they promised.0 -

I completely agree. They seem to make stuff up as they told me that I had just signed a new 12 month contract in February in order to receive a £3 discount, which was news to me. I was left arguing with them for an hour before they accepted my 30 days notice as they didn't have a recording of the conversation.0
