My Mum in law is getting Central TV through her Sky dish, when she lives in Meridian area. Anyone know how we can change to pickup Mreidian. Thanks

Try scrolling through the channels up above 970 or thereabouts - there's regional variants up there.
FWIW, I'm in Scotland, and BBC1 on channel 101 gives me BBC London....0 -
You'll get the regional ITV channel to where the Sky card was registered.
I moved back to Greater Manchester last year, but I still get STV instead of ITV
If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands

Has she moved or has it always been that way? Is it Sky box or a Freesat box?Try scrolling through the channels up above 970 or thereabouts - there's regional variants up there.
On a Sky box, only ITV 1 London will be there on 993, other ITV regions have to be added manually.0 -
I tried over 970 - can get BBC regions and ITV london, but no meridian.0

Isn't the region driven fromt the postcode associated with the viewing card?0

She said it was OK for a few weeks but then changed. She no longer subscribes to sky. Others in her block of flats are non subscribers now too and they are off the same dish but they do not have this problem.0

Assuming she is a Sky subscriber, just phone them. They should be able to sort that out easily enough.
Failing that you can add the region to "other channels". See herehttp://www.stevelarkins.freeuk.com/itv_regions_sky_digibox.htm
Edit. Posted at the same time as you. There's obviously no point in phoning Sky then.0 -
How can we do that?

and post 8 above, thought the linked page is nearly three years old and maybe out of date for some details.0 -

So it is!
Didn't spot the September 2008 reference. The page was last modified in January this year, but whether that was for anything useful I don't know. 0
