Busy day. DD cried. Alot. it would appear her wonderful parents attending her sports day was a little too much to bear! It was roasting hot so there were a number of children who were a little "fraught". Still it's another rite of passage out of the way ;)

Been very lazy and had a pizza with my parents who stopped round to have a granchild fix. Kids gave them lovely cuddles when they saw them so it was nice to see they were missed.

Killer cat has caught yet another baby bird. that's two birds this week. Getting a bit fed up now. it's in a box in the garage, seems more sprightly than the others she's caught although it's got quite a nasty wound on the side of it's body. Positive vibes she survives the night so I can get hold of a cage to give her time to recover.

Hot, hot, hot here but I spent it all day in a boardroom (should be bored room) at an induction day for my second job. Strange really as I have been there about 6 weeks! It was interesting in places but very boring in others. Still it's done now.

Also been to collect my new garden furniture and sat out with DD (who cooked outside) for a while this evening. Midges have put paid to that now. Treated us to a couple of steamer chairs and some ordinary chairs and new table. The other stuff we have is beginning to look very shabby and is far too heavy to move about.

Put out loads of washing before I went out this morning and it has dried but will save the ironing till tomorrow.

Hope you are all well, hope Lou is on the mend.

    Take care. XX

Bit of a late one from me, can't believe how quiet the thread is! Have been reasonably productive over past few days, have done nearly all of the declutter in ds2's bedroom - will then need to organise new bed - may do that in the hols so not such a disturbance, just need to finish off then start on ds1's room, his "shouldn't" be so bad as he's older and doesn't have quite so much junk, but will need to set too with it shortly.

Big hugs to those that need/want them, take care

    Hello all,

Very small attendance today....all wiped out by the heat maybe?

Its been warm here but we are to have rain to-morrow....have put a wash on the lne anyway as couldn't be asked putting them on airer...that will be to-morrow's chore when they are all sopping wet after rain!

Need to fill in 3 forms to-night and send them off in post to-morrow....one is with my fine (€80) for speeding.....really mad about the points on my license more than anything....should have done earlier but like to live dangerously sometimes!

Hugs to all in need or want, especially Lou
