NEXT VIP sale summer 2011

I'm so upset. My slot is at 9am tomorrow. I made a list of all my items. I just checked the availability of my chosen items and unfortunately 80% of what I want is no longer available. Can't find the sizes. I wanted to buy my hub a wallet, socks, t shirts etc, all gone. A couple of things I wanted for my daughter are no longer available in the sizes I require. A few birthday gifts I selected, all gone. I think I got a little too excited, hence the disappointment... 

Any idea what the criteria is for the allocation of the VIP slots?

Most of the stuff I had in my 'want' list is gone but still quite a few there (and some things I didnt spot first time )

Going to be up for 6am to try grab a few bargains

You win some you lose some! Everything I putin my basket had sold out but I cant complain as I was lucky to get a VIP slot anyway. Plus I havent spent any money!! Hope everyone else manages to get something they want!

I never check the sale preview it's not worth it as most of the stuff has gone by then. You can also buy at full price so I think it makes people who have been putting off buying, buy it because otherwise theyw ill not get it. Rather shrewd move by Next I think. If there was something I REALLY wanted I would order at full price so I had it if it was not left in the sale.

Out if interest I think the site is crashing when stuff you are trying to put into your basket, sells out. In the end I was pressing the back button to the page I was on and refreshing the page and it had sold out. It was painful doing the order and my eyes were nearly closed by the time I had finished, after 11pm the site speeded up but I could not find a huge amount I wanted.

We are going on holiday in April and I wanted to get some stuff for my kids for then. This stuff is going to be coming while we are away in 10 days time - my sister is going to be busy because she is going to be here house sitting :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I also got some t-shirts for hubby as his are looking a bit grotty now.

Got a few bits but not much spent less than £100 and was expecting it to be a lot more oh well suppose i will be there on sat lol

me thinks a plague of locusts went through the next site last night cos by time i got my slot this morning sat bleery eyed but focused and ready with my list most of it was gone!!!!!!! did manage to get a few bargains for kids but everything i wanted for my lovely new home had gone ( so it will not look as lovely as i envisaged now ho hum)
thanks for the posts everyone about getting delivery charges knocked back to one cos i had to put through 3 orders so will be trying that. hope everyone enjoys their purchases.
has anyone had e-mails who ordered yet to say deliveries on way?xx (think it might be a tad early but never know )

I think it;ll be onday before it starts arriving because they'll wait til the proper sale starts.

The people who placed full price orders, I reckon you will get those before we get our sale stuff.

You really should never check the VIP listings as you'll only be disappointed and it's a waste of a good many hours.

Well my slot was started at 06:00 this morning. Found all the things I wanted for the first time ever (has been a while since I've even been offered a VIP slot). Only bought 2 things eventually, so not breaking the bank either. Couldn't find anything I really liked for the kids.

I was up for 6am and managed to get 3 things off my original list, I have got a few replacement things, but this is the first time I have managed to get hold of any Superdry items usually all gone by the time I get my slot. I did find a few bits that were not on my original list, bedding etc so was a bit naughty budget wise but all in all not a bad result!
