NEXT VIP sale summer 2011

Are you allowed to place more than one order within your time slot? I remember in the past that stuff had disappeared out of my basket before I got order submitted. I cant find anywhere though if it will allow you to log back in within your time slot.

not sure if everyone knows this, but you don't need to type in the full catalogue number - just the first 6 numbers, and no need for the hyphen either - learnt this the hard way at my first sale!

you can place multiple orders.

Well I got my invite and managed to book the first slot, which is great....the sale listings are pretty dire so far (well for the kids clothes as I only buy them for my little boy and baby on the way!) usually there are like 60 pages to trawl through in my boys size, so far, there are 10!!

I hope that they add more things over the next few days, which I think is usually the case in years gone by, although they do usually have way more than this at the beginning!!

I don't think ill be skinting myself as much this year as in previous years!!

I wonder if it's due to the current climate, someone said the stores are not ordering as much stock to save on money so thats why they don't have the good sales they used to.....

They usually continue adding items right up until the VIP sale starts, then there'll probably be loads more pages plus the electrical pages which are never on preview and only appear once the first slot goes live.

You can place multiple orders, last time I placed a few (I was desparate to check out stuff I really wanted before it sold out) and then I rang Next customer services who refunded all delivery charges apart from 1

Just walked through the door and tried again, booked a slot for 7.30 - 11.30pm on Wednesday, which isn't bad seeing as though I've only had the account for 5 months!



ETA : can I ask anyone who has ordered through the VIP slots before, is it easier to have a look at what items you want beforehand and make a list of the order codes, then order them via quickshop with the codes, to save trawling through everything?

^^ yes, make a list of codes beforehand for sure then just type them in in Quickshop.

yes, it's far easier and quicker to do it that way! things do tend to go out of stock by the time you get to checkout!
