NEXT VIP sale summer 2011

Just spoke to Next Directory. The first advisor explained that both the main and VIP sales start Mon 11 July. But then, Customer Services explained no dates had been confirmed. Best to check again later in the week!

Best way to check when the vip invites are due to come out is by watching the site. When the 'offers' tab at the right hand side of the page has gone, this means they are preparing for the sale. Have had a VIP invite for the last 5 years..I use it for home and my 2 kids. I pretty much get the first slot each time just by logging into my account everyday and there will be a VIP section on the left hand side...I click on this to book my slot...even before the emails are sent out...and a lot of people do this. I know the sale is next Saturday in store, vip sale usually next wednesday so the vip invites will be from this weekend, maybe sunday or monday..start looking sunday and checking forums..especially here for info because most of us post to let everyone know there getting slots...happy shopping and good luck..:j

Just had email to say my monthly statement was in so paid the bill and after I had done so there was a box to the left asking if I wanted to be considered for the VIP sale (I already get the catalogue, have ordered from current season etc etc) so just to say look out for the consideration box even if you do meet the supposed criteria!!

The VIP slots should be sent out tomorrow from about 2pm - make sure you are near a computer to get a lovely early slot!!! Good luck Nexters!!!:j

Well that's me out then! If they sorted their sizes out I wouldn't have to order a suit in two sizes - sometimes a 14 is fine, sometimes a 16 is too small. Its mad. So I end up returning 1/2 - all of what I ordered sometimes! Its so difficult to predict what's going to look good and what isn't. Plus their quality is up and down now...you can't tell until you get something whether it will be very nicely made and good material...or complete rubbish.

I used to love the Next VIP sale - we relied on it for about 5 years for all of our clothes (work suits and kids stuff) as a family. Before I lost weight, it was the only place that did decent suits for size 18/20. But now I'm a 14, not such an issue any more and a promotion means that we're not so hard up... I'll be disappointed if I don't get a VIP slot as it is SUCH FUN but I'll think Oh well, we had it good for a number of years when we most needed it.
