oH is watching a cricket match (over 50's - he's too young!) He was going for the 'afternoon' and has just confirmed that he won't be back until the match has finished...

So much for the afternoon - I have cooked chicken for DD2, fish for DD1 (DD2 is intolerant) and am now cooking my tea!:mad::mad::mad:

Obviously I have nothing better to do on a Sunday than cook individual meals for everyone.:mad::mad::mad::mad: DS is fishing so i don't know when he'll be back - but at least his is just a slam in the oven and throw leftover veg at it!;)

    Afternoon all :hello:

Been AWOL for a few days, doing the work thing and then churchy stuff including a performance with the kids this morning which necessitated sound effects as collated and co ordinated by yours truly :D

Miss A and I are MH bound in early August (I think, will be her choice) as Nanan and Grandad are taking W to 'Legoland 2', W's description :rotfl: (Windsor) if he has a good school report, a long promised treat.

Just caught up on fred and about to sort dinner.

Congrats to Mr & Mrs AJ, hugs to everyone else as I can't remember all the news and don't want to miss anyone out.

    Evening all

I was AWOL most of the week, dealing with work stuff. The next few days will still be busy, but hopefully not as mad and manic.

Since Friday I haven't done much, really, and it shows. I needed to sleep, though, and read, and spend time with the family. Still got a severe case of CBA and DS2 has been ill today with a bad tummy. It looks like he's on the mend, but I'll still keep him off tomorrow and DS1 can look after him.

Pretty much everyone has been fed (I'm not hungry yet and DS2 isn't eating at the moment) and I'm going to do a bit of work later, before a reasonalbe bedtime. Must also throw a few clothes in the washer. Don't feel to good myself at the moment, but that could be more about dealing with DS2. :(

Back to normal tomorrow, and I'll catch up on house stuff after work. I've already bought a few new bits today (just cheapy tops and some joggers), so I can pack my bag for the school trip next weekend (another club trip with DS2 to the East Coast first :D). We're off on Wednesday evening. :j

I've only read the last couple of pages of the thread, so hugs, congrats, spoons and sticks as needed. Another two weeks and I'll have time to get involved more. :T Have missed you all.

Congratulations Mrs AJ. Have a wonderful honeymoon.

I have spent the rest of the afternoon sorting through some paperwork, paid some bills and helped DS1 to apply for some jobs. His full time job which was due to start on Monday is no more. The employer is broke and can't pay the workers.

I feel for all the people who rely on it to pay mortgages etc. At least ours have us to feed them etc and no major bills to pay.

It also means that DS2 has no work to come home to either.
business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

I have decided to take a step back from the thread next week so won't be joining you.

This place has been a great source of freindship, support, laughter and a fun way of dealing with the boring task of housework and home making. I have not always been successful in keeping on top of the housework but without the thread and every contributor we would be in a far worse state than we are now. I have made many new friends as a result of the thread and met some of you in RL :) and hope to meet more in the future.

Recently however I have felt that the whole ethos of the thread has shifted away from the aim. In particular it seems that man bashing for man bashings sake is almost an obligatory requirement. Whilst I can appreciate and empathise with those who have troublesome men at this time there are plenty of men who will help (abliet with much persausion required for some). I so wish my DH was here so he could help me but that is not to be, hence my reason for giving the thread a break.

    Au revoir for now.

Oh no poohbear, that's rubbish for your sons :(

    Congrats AJ :j

I've done almost nothing this weekend - I spent most of yesterday feeling hungover and sorry for myself.
Used up far too many spoons last night explaining to the OH how I feel (varying mental illnesses) and so now I'm well and truly knackered today. Just feel all tired and stuff. Haven't been quite so weary in a good few weeks :(

Broadband box is arriving tomorrow, exciting :j

ETA - Sorry to hear you're taking a hiatus AnW - hope to see you back soon x

AJ, congratulations!! Hope you have a wonderful honeymoon! :)

AnW, hope your stay away is short. x

Today we had family round so i didn't do much flying. I did get to mop the kitchen and bathroom floors though, so that's one thing done.

I've still got wedding photos to get on with and some things to organise for my friends baby shower, but they *should* get done in the next few days.

Will come back and find the list later on. If i'm not in bed! Cream crackered!!
