Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

Piggers - sounds like he needs some career advice, but for the moment, any job would do. As far as potential employers go, willingness to work is the most important thing and you can learn all sorts of useful things by doing something a bit different. We had all sorts of people working in our call centres and for some it was a great way in to a career in the company. I found a law grad in one of them who is now very successful in IT and another person who is managing outsourcing contracts. Lots of people have careers that have no connection with their degree, so he really needs to think about whwt he can do rather than what he can't. And while he is job hunting, voluntary work will earn CV points, provide experience, get him out from under your feet occasionally and hopefully give him some motivation. The longer he is out of work the harder it is going to be for him.

DD has a bob!!! I nearly cried when she had the first cut....It looked soooo short but the end result is lovely and DD loves it, but every time I look at her I feel a little sad, as she looks like she is getting older now(I know she is, but, well, you know!!)

I have S+S'd the kitchen, tidied some shoes and had a quick tidy up in the LR. Ready for DD to be picked up by DSD and then chill for the night!!

Well, today wasn't as bad as I was expecting (I have been dreading having 1 boy for 9 1/2 hours as he is such hard work). He was very good, as were the others. Obviously, EVERY toy was out, the dining table was completely covered with collage stuff (stick on jewels tipped out, stickers, tissue paper, etc). I am not dreading the week in the hols that I have this boy for 4 whole days now :D (the week before we go on holiday, so need to packing/organising aswell)

Anyway, all the toys are away, the table is cleared (all art stuff packed away properly) and i have hoovered through downstairs. I am ready for the weekend now :j DH is cooking dinner :T I think I might light a candle and kick back & relax (or maybe fiddle about with some paperwork whilst watching TV)

I have been looking into Foundation Degree courses. The OU one is £700 (for the 1st year - not sure about after that) and another that has been recommended is £995 per year (should take 2 years) there is no funding from the council for this, so will have to come out of my pocket (tax deductable, I think) It is a lot of money, but I suppose it is only a tenth of the money FT students have to find! Need to do some serious thinking :undecided
