    Good morning :D

Pigpen - sounds like OH (and the older kids) need a wake up call. I suspect they are going to find out soon, 'cos I can feel the pressure building from here! I don't know what to suggest :( I agree that they need to fend for themselves to appreciate you, but I also agree that it would get a lot worse before it got better & would take too long!! I also agree that you shouldn't have to ask, they should want to help, BUT if it aint gonna happen, just start [STRIKE]dictating[/STRIKE] delegating. Take the role of foreman and get bossy!! :rotfl:Look after number one, for a change

AJ - more hugs. I hope you manage to enjoy your final preparations, and I hope your M&D can make the wedding x Sending posi vibes your way

Well, I ought to get going. DH cancelled his trip to Cardiff this week 'cos he is fed up of it :( So he has taken the kids to school :)

the plan is to take the dog out & then pick DD2 up from her friend's at about 10. But what I WANT to do is take a trip to Ikea :o I have spent so much money recently, that I should probably stick to the plan & crack on with the lists :( Ho hum

My uncle's funeral has finally been booked! It is next Tuesday. That is about 17 days after he died

Good news!! DD1 has passed her exams (1st year at Uni) She honestly thought she would have to retake (retakes are the week we are on holiday!!). She needs to resubmit a portfolio for research methods (involves A level standard maths - she only did up to GCSE) I said I would look at the maths side with her, and see if I can help - otherwise I know a maths teacher who can :)

    Anyway - dog needs walking....

    Morning all

AJ~ sending you good vibes, I really hope you have a wonderful day, and that your parents can make some or all of the day, if you were further this way, I am sure some of the flyladies would come and watch you go in to your services, hugs to you.

Pigpen~ delegate. If I need help with things to do up / down stairs, I just leave them in the way of the stair case, the next person up or down, takes what ever with them, and puts in a suitable place, I then put it away or what ever. It works here.

Just joined the local gym for 6 weeks £50 as a special offer as I am having trouble shifting the last weight, it will go, it is going to go!! next blood test / formal weigh in with nurse is on Monday

Signs up around here for the Grand Prix, going to be a fun 4 days, as lots of the local roads are closed, and rest have been converted in to a giant one way system, which comes into full force on Saturday, so should be interesting and the trafic build up around here is bad, as I am on the route for avoiding the Grand Prix main area.

    WM is on
TD is on, (I know but it is raining here)
    Floors done

    Have a good dayx

    My job plan today

    Essentials:
    [STRIKE]Take all clean washing upstairs[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Put next dark wash on[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Empty and refill dishwasher[/STRIKE]
    Clear stairs
    Clear kitchen tops
    Toilet, bath and sink

    Extras:
    put clean washing away
    clear dining table
    declutter bathroom

Am away tomorrow evening for the weekend so need to get bottom off computer chair and get sorted!

Start made - slightly sidetracked by a half an hour phone call from 74 yr old mum asking me to email her a picture of a ct scanner, and then talking her through opening it and printing it. When she rings I now answer the phone 'Ceridwen's Computer Classes'!!

Got the MOT this weekend which means the dreaded CAR CLEAN, inside and out! I think I'm going to be dragged into helping with that one, although by rights its the OH's job as he's more bothered than me. I know I should be bothered too, but I don't think the mechanic is going to be that bothered by some grass underneath the floor mats....:o

    morning all :hello:

flying well this week except for the floors, I must do the floors at lunch break

Pigpen I sympathise, my DH thinks housework is for women, men don't do it. So despite the fact we both work, I get to do all the housework as well. I agree, if you went away, you would still have it all to do when you get back and on top of that you would get moaned at for not being there to do it when it needed doing. Been there, done that ................etc.

Hugs for peeps that are having difficult situations to cope with.
