NSD 11 for me today, which is a miracle, cos it's payday and I normally have a minisplurge. I actually had £19 left in my bank account this month, which is the first time in years that I have had pennies left over. Hoping to create a little emergency buffer of £100, for emergencies only!LBM 2008 [STRIKE]£45,091.23[/STRIKE] eek: now £7889:T Debt free date 18/07/20180

I'm sure I can learn to spend within my means - I have loads to sell on £bay - it's just me finding myself getting around to it - I am the master of procrastination! I've wanted to start a diary on here for a couple of months and I keep putting it off telling myself I've got no time but yet I sat at home watching tv from 9pm onwards yesterday when I could have been productive instead!
Off to the Traff to the cinema tonight and renewed car tax today so a definite spendy!
A bit of time in front of the TV is no bad things JCG, we all need some "me time" that we shouldn't feel guilty about!
Hope you enjoy the cinema!Learning2Budget wrote: »NSD 11 for me today, which is a miracle, cos it's payday and I normally have a minisplurge. Me too - hence I excluded it from my challenge in the end
Well done Learning2Budget - it's a good feeling to have some cash at the end of the month isn't it. I was just discussing that at work today - talking to someone about a deal in Mr T and mentioned that if I told my friend all the offers about atm she'd just call me a !!!!!...to which the reply was 'well I don't mind being called a !!!!! if it saves me cash, they're the ones who always moan they have no money left before pay day' How true I thought afterwards
Errrr...jury is out on a NSD today...bought some BOG2F cheese in Mr T earlier with some other bits (which I think will be returned...another of my 'long stories) but got £4 off with conditional spends so if I take the others back, cheese was 29p for 1.2kg (beat that one Cheryl lol!!! :rotfl:)
Then got milk (not counted in NSD challenge) in Mr S and another San*x shower creme with 50p off - making it 87p. Stopped in SD and bought another one (I know I know) with another 50p off - making it 45p (this was one with 0% stuff added, wanted to give it a go even though it's slightly more expensive that the bigger bottles, but they only do this in 250ml). Still, it was 5p cheaper than Mr S.
So total 'challenge' spend is £1.61 - which I reckon I can find in the change pot (this is the pot OH puts his coppers and change in....and I take coppers and change out) so could basically be a NSD...but I need to check the pot.
Did make £14 on fleabay last night, sold some balls for £12 which the guy collected and paid for tonight - must put that into savings :A
Feeling much better today - no idea what was wrong with me last night - think i just ate far too much at lunchtime then nothing the rest of the day.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

......so if I take the others back, cheese was 29p for 1.2kg (beat that one Cheryl lol!!! :rotfl:)
I paid under 70p for a 2kg bag - and can't remember whether I ended up with 3 or 4 bags, but I still have some of it in my freezers now 'cos I rebagged it into 100g 'portions' before freezing
it's a mature cheddar I think (deffo a mature something), and is brilliant for using in cooking. Not as good in a butty, but having ready grated mature cheese for making sauces etc is fantasticCheryl0 -
NSD19 for me today please:beer:If you've nothing decent to say, perhaps you shouldn't say anything.
