:hello:Hi suzitiger and welcome to MSE, DFW and the NSD challenge (that's a lot of initials, sorry:o)

You're not sounding stupid at all, don't worry loads of people have asked what NSD stands for and it does indeed mean no spend days.

If you'd like to join us, you'd be very welcome. All you have to do is let me know how many days you'd like to aim for between now and the end of the month and I'll add you to the front page. If you make your target, you get a "prize" - see the front page:D

After that it's really up to you - you can post daily if you'd like to and it doesn't always have to be to report an NSD- you can just join in with the chat if you'd like to.

We're a very friendly bunch and all newbies are very welcome.

That's it really, so welcome aboard if you'd like to join in.

    spoon xx

    Hello to:

jinty - glad you had a lovely day yesterday and how nice of your friend to buy you the pressie. It’s so good to have you back again in good spirits, you’ve been so down (and justifiably so) recently, I missed the old jinty xx:A
Well done for sticking to your list!! Eeek to more dentures and hope you enjoyed your lunch:)

    If - I love those pandas!!:T

LittleMissHappy - love the wiggles.:T Hope you enjoy Bridesmaids again, lots of things to look forward to, definitely. Make sure you do return most of them...... I shall expect a full inventory;):rotfl:.....

Cheryl - oh dear, more spends, never mind, there are still loads of potential NSDs left in July, you can do it:T

boult - glad you enjoyed your time with your Dad.. what is it with men and gadgets?;)

Nargle - well done on the spends today, that sounds good. We’ve had rain here today so I fully expect the rest of our summer to be a washout (as normal):(.
On the upside, yes I think a moon party is definitely in order for Thursday, I’m spending the weekend sorting out the Tardis and trying to find Hubert.... has anyone seen him recently?:rotfl:

kerri - probably a good idea to turn the water off before changing the washer, just in case:)...

Red - oh dear, sorry about the spends and the weather. Oooh... a wine warehouse, that definitely sounds expensive!!

BDINI - I’m with you on the price of groceries - horrified.com at my spend on Wednesday!!!!
Wanting to stay at home tomorrow doesn’t sound selfish at all, you deserve some time for you so enjoy it, even if it does mean tacking a mountain of ironing.
    Take care xx:A

No 13 for me today, not sure about tomorrow though, I can feel an itch to spend some money coming on...

Off to update the front page now, so see you all tomorrow.

    ‘night everyone

I too bought some red wine today from Aldis. A bottle of French red and a bottle of Italian red, both only £2.99 each! And they are both quite pleasant and drinkable.

I really like Italian red at the moment, but wouldn't rush to buy any French red. Although there is no Aldi in NI, so won't be able to avail of those bargain prices.
If you've nothing decent to say, perhaps you shouldn't say anything.

    £2 savings jar £300:D
Total credit card debts £1250:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad: - Will I ever learn!!

Good morning all! Well as you can see, it's chucking it down here ATM! I need to take dog out but he is as UNenthusiastic as me!
Had a lovely day yesterday, enjoyed our lunch and catchup. Sis and I have decided to join (rejoin) Weight Watcher$ on Thurs, as we were both horrified when we saw our figures in the photos of my Mum's birthday. It will be good to go together to spur each other on!
I am off to stock up on fruit today, but I will pay from my HK money so wont spoil an NSD!
Thanks for your kind words Spoon, yes I do feel more like myself IYSWIM. I hate wallowing in self pity, but sometimes its needed then you come out the other side and realise life aint all that bad after all!;)
The posts on here really help - it's nice knowing what everyone is up to!

    Have a lovely Saturday everyone:)

Morning everyone. Well I had an unintentional NSD yesterday bringing me to NSD 5/8. Plus another 2 in a row.
I had meant to do a big shop but after working a 12 hour shift was just too tired.:p I was too tired to even log on.
Will have to spend today or we wont eat!:o

Morning everyone, hope you are all doing well with NSD's :) I'm getting there slowly, but for some reason I want to spend more than I have..lol

Anyway yesterday I had another NSD which I was pleased about. :D That brings my total up to 6 NSD's
No NSD's today I'm afraid as we are off to The Kent County Show - oh wait DH gave me the spending money so that doesn't really count does it? As I won't be using my own money for the show.. OOooh that must count as a NSD.. Hmmm shall think on that one.. :D

Hope everyone has a good day and manages to dodge the rain and wind. :D

Jinty, lovely the rain smiley! :D I'm doing that here too... and heading South West to the coast today, so suspect I will be doing that all the way there!!!!

Thanks for the virtual aromatherapy! :D It must have worked a treat as I'm feeling rather sleepy this morning!

Declaring number 7 for yesterday. However heading to a BBQ  (I'm guessing it'll be an indoors one!) so will likely be spending today. I'm veggie and when I askedmy friend about the logistics of cooking veggie along side £100 worth of meat  she asked if I could bring my own disposable BBQ. Cue my veggie rant about why I'd rather just say thank you but no to most BBQ invites. Anyway, I think it might be best to eat before I get there!!!! :D
