Blackberry fault- orange
I have a blackberry curve which is on a 24 month contract ending in December. The handset was replaced last October and I now have a fault with this one. The scroll pad is sticking so Iwent into orange shop yesterday who advised me to call 150 and a replacement would be arranged. Phoned 150 last night and gentleman agreed a replacement would be out tonight between 6-10. Well by 9:50 no phone so phoned 150 who now advised a replacement would not be comming as outwith 12 month guarantee. I advised this was not the case as this is a replacement and she advised replacements only carry 3 months warranty and I would have to pay £140 for a replacement. So frustrated I hate dealing with the call centre. Any advice would be appreciated. I have 4 contracts with orange.

Someone may correct me, but as far as I know, you don't get a new warranty with a warranty replacement. If the phone was gauranteed for 12 months, then replaced under that warranty, you don't then get a 12 month warranty again, only until the original warranty ends.
This kind of ties in with what Orange are saying? That's the way it works in my trade anyway (motor)
Perhaps buy a cheap phone til December unless you have insurance you can claim on? With 4 contracts, you'd like to think loyalty came into it, but probably not!0
