iPhone 4...

Hi!
I am thinking about getting an iPhone 4 32GB to double as a phone and MP3 Player. Plus use of the camera etc.
I am after a SIM free iPhone 4 to use with my GiffGaff PAYG SIM.
Any comments on the iPhone 4 would be appreciated.
I have a question though about the MP3 player side of things:
Can you load normal MP3's onto it? I am unsure of the process for iPhones. My current MP3 player just hooks to a PC as a Memory Drive and you just drag and drop the MP3's into it and then just unplug the device.
Thanks so much!

i have had one not far off a year now and find it really user friendly does everything i need it to do.Never had any of the signal issues that was supposed to be a big problem.
as for the ipod i have a mixture of content from itunes, copied from cd and downloaded from internet as standard mp3 it just needs converting to AAC in itunes.you add content to itunes then sync with the phone it really is quite easy once you have had a look at it.
the iphone5 is due out later this year so cost of the 4 will come right down then if you are in no rush?0 -

There is a reason for that, there are enough posts and info around about the iphone and itunes, if you want the phone then just get it

You download the music to computer as normal, then double click on the file which for instance should move the album to itunes automatically or if does not work click on the folder itself, which shows the individual art work and songs and double click on each item and it automatically moves to itunes. Saying that I am using a macbookpro, so I think as long as have itunes on computer it should do the same hopefully. I think it was made easier recently with itunes updates that recognise that we dont only want to use itunes. Even my amazon downloads go automatically to itunes now.
As for the phone it is great, I have 32mb white one and bought it out right to avoid having to deal with any company for two years.0 -

Audio formats supported: AAC (8 to 320 Kbps), Protected AAC (from iTunes Store), HE-AAC, MP3 (8 to 320 Kbps), MP3 VBR, Audible (formats 2, 3, 4, Audible Enhanced Audio, AAX, and AAX+), Apple Lossless, AIFF, and WAV
All you need to do is install iTunes, click "file" - "add folder to library" and point it to the folder where you store all of your music. Job done.0 -
