That sounds plenty (unless you've got big fists, that is!)
Actually - put in half amount and see what you get. You could always make two lots - one sweet and one salty!0 -
We have what can only be described as a duck/Hairdryer..had it on clearance from comet..
You pop his hat off chuck corn in and turn on..theres some sort of element in the bottom and a fan that swirls it all around...before you know it theres popcorn flying out of his mouth into a bowlDebt Free Marathon: Start 01/06/09 £16714 - Current Position £14514 - Finish Line Xmas 20100 -
simonts, thats similar to ours except ours isn't as fun, it's just plain chrome (it was a Christmas gift from an aunty & uncle which just about everybody received! ). We pop our corn and then pour melted butter/spread mixed with a little bit of icing sugar (which we do on the top of our maker in a little cup thats supplied as per the instructions...saves using the microwave
). Most delish and DD, who's 5, ate a HUGE bowl full of it yesterday while watching TV.
Edited to add: This is the one we have except ours is a chrome and black finish. There is a little cup that comes with it and sits ontop of the lid so the heat coming out of the vents melts your butterCreeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -

Instead of icing sugar, we mix a spoonful of cocoa powder with some cinnamon

We've got one of those, the first time we used it we forgot the bowl and used too much corn. There was perfect popcorn all over the place, the kids thought it was great :rotfl:Bulletproof0 -
What sort of corn do you need for popping? I looked the other day and could only see microwaveable popcorn. I don't have a microwave. Where could I buy some?
Thanks!0 -
You need kernels, they look like thisBulletproof0

Thanks Troo! Thats what I thought I was looking for. But where do you buy them? I looked in Asda and in Morrisons and didn't see them. What aisle would they be kept in?
I'm off to the Co-op in a few minutes. I doubt they'll have them as its a very small shop, but I will have a look.0
