I NOW OFFICIALLY OWE NO MONEY ON CC's or O/D - YIPPEE!!!

Christmas has come early for me - I just have to share my good news with everyone - I never thought that I could do it but I have (well with a little help from my lovely mum & dad). :j

Just over three months ago I had my LB moment and owed nearly £7,000 on CC's and an O/D. I am a stay at home mum so thought that there was no way out.

However I have today just paid off my Egg CC in full and also my Natwest O/D in full (having managed to pay my Tesco CC in full a little while ago). This means that the only debt I now have is an interest free loan of £2,000 from my parents (who have actually said that the money is mine if I want it - but I am determined to pay them back too!!!).

This month I managed to make/earn:-

Sale Standard Life Shares - £520.80
Avon sales through wanted website - £11.50
Website Shop sales - £42.90
Ebay Sales - £54.11
Coupons used (got free from freebies sent away from from this website) - £23.45
Old Dormant Virgin Savings Account (cashed in) - £595.87
Standard Life Policy Cashed In - £2,522.10
Loan from Parents - £2,000
Questionnaire - £15.00 (found from this website so big thanks)
Mystery Shopping - £10.00

Meaning that my only sole debt now is £2,000 which is interest free. (I know that this is still a lot but I am so proud of myself to have cleared nearly £5,000 all by myself in just three months!!!)

However the even better news is that my situation has now made my hubby have his lightbulb moment and so we are going to tackle all his high interest debts now and then pay off the interest free loan to my parents once all his CC's and Loans are paid in full.

We shall be sitting down together (at last) to do a SOA for his debts tonight so that we can formulate a plan of action to become debt free as soon as possible. So everyone look out - any help will be gratefully reecived again (without you guys I don't think I could have had the motivation to clear my debts)

I can't wait to be properly debt free but at least for the time being I can sleep easy tonight knowing that I have made a really good dent in my debts and OH has finally seen the light.

And I managed to not spend a penny on my credit cards for this christmas - Yipee - I'm a new woman - adicted to saving money and not spending it!!!

Merry Christmas to everyone - there really is light at the end of the tunnell!!!!
