How am I a dumb troll? your letter was appalling with at least 5 grammatical or spelling errors.

Want me to highlight them for you?

If you are going to advise people on providing "legal" documentation you better make it sound a bit better!

    Notice before action:
That you have attempted to exercise your right to the sale of goods act and the seller has refused to accept you have a recourse on 3 separate occasions, that this letter constitutes a final conclusion in the negotiations with the seller, that now a action of recourse shall be commenced in the county court to recover the value and costs incurred by the seller in selling goods which are not as described. ???
That they should seek immediate legal advise upon the implications of refusing you a refund or goods as described.

You also need to capitalise the proper nouns, such as Sale of Goods Act, County Court etc.

You've tried to sound clever and you just sound like a layman.

Edit: The Trouble with asking for advice is you had better be prepared to hear what you did not want to hear, the truth is the most offensive thing on earth. ;)

Send them a letter before action. And tell them you will be taking them to the small claims court.

Not much else you can do.

    Surely a letter "Of intent"

In my previous post I've highlighted the areas that I would be embarrassed to put into a formal notice let alone a letter to a friend.

We all make mistakes, but to make the same spelling mistake in such quick succession, particularly when someone has already brought it to your attention is pretty embarrassing! :D

Do you have any thing to offer to the OP or have you come here to troll and pick fights whilst you hide behind your keyboard, you have offered nothing, made a fool of yourself criticising Grammatical errors then post your own.
You serve no purpose other than to inflame and en-troll the thread.
    You are a disgrace.
    !!!!!! Off somewhere else.

I offered the OP the advice to not take any advice from someone that writes like a child. If they want to be taken seriously they need to write letters that are not riddled with errors.

I may make a few mistakes in my forum posts but I wasn't telling anyone to send them word for word as a legal notice!

Edit: The truth is obviously very offensive to you!!

Maybe rather than criticising his grammer & spelling you could put your own LBA up so OP actually has something they can use?

We took the tent back last night and they said they can't accept it back for refund or exchange because we should have checked the size of the tent in the shop and that it had been removed from it's original packaging so they didn't have to accept it back.

    My questions are as follows:
How should we have checked the size in the shop? Were we meant to get the tent out and put it up before purchasing or something stupid?
As far as we were aware, we wanted the product so we took it out to put it up and it was the wrong one in the packaging so can they then refuse to give us our money back when the product in their sealed packaging was wrong?
How do we go about getting some sort of resolution out of this if they won't accept it back but we can't use the product?

I would go back and ask again. When they say you should have checked before leaving, ask them to show you how to check in the shop please. Get them to come round, unpack the thing and to show you how it fits together, right there in the shop. 'I don't understand, can you show me how to do that please'. If you can have someone there taking photos so that you can refer to it once you get home even better. Don't get angry - play it innocent and see what happens.
If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.
