Best mobile newtwork to call abroad

Guys,
What is the best mobile network to use to call abroad (Finland - EU Country).

I am looking for the standard networks (e.g. Vodafone, 3, 02, T-Mobile) and not one of the different SIM cards (like Lycra Mobile) as it is just for the odd use.

Thanks!

    Any network is good if you use inclusive minutes and call abroad indirectly: International CallChecker

    Also, I don't see what's wrong with 'non-standard networks' if it's 'for the odd use'.

    Dialing directly, icardmobile is 4p per minute to Finland, but if you're choosing to exclude yourself from the best deals, probably Orange PAYG on Camel at 10p per minute will be around the best you'll get - you get 60 free international minutes for 30 days when you add a £10 top up.

    I thought about standrad networks to aviod having to pay to unlock the phone but this icardmobile does seem very good value Stuart_W.

    If your phone is locked you can use it only on one 'standard' network, not all 'standard' networks. Unlocked phone can be used on all 'standard' and 'substandard' networks.

    A phone locked to some 'standard' network can be used on some 'substandard' networks without unlocking.

    icardmobile = vodafone
    giffgaff/tesco=o2
    etc.

    Vectone which piggy backs on T-Mob is only 2p a min to Finland Landline http://www.vectonemobile.co.uk/rates/standard/international-rates.aspx

    and if you top on online there UK Rates are excellent.

    5p a min UK Mobiles/ Landlines 2.5p UK Texts

    So presumably you can use a Vectone Sim in a T Mob phone?
