Ryanair flights

Just wanted some tips on booking with Ryanair. I havent flown for a while so wondering if anything has changed.

Im looking to travel to Dublin in November. The prices are ok around £75 return inc everything but just wondered about them doing the 1p flights. How much do these work out at when you add everything on? Will i be saving quite a lot if i wait?
I just want to get it booked though as i need the flights on particular days. Just wondering how much i would lose out.
Im travelling light as its only a 3 night stop. Im assuming im still allowed a smallish bag on board? What about the rules on toiletries?
Im loking at doing the online check in. Would it be fine for me to check in online a week before for both legs of the journey?

Any tips would be much appreciated

They sometimes do 1p flights which really are 1p, inc all taxes and charges! I got a return to Dublin for 2p and that is all I paid, I didn't even have to use an obscure card, just a normal debit card. Was a few years ago.

Look up the dimensions on hand luggage on their website, it's a bit less than othr airlines but as I remember the weight is more than most 10Kg I think BUT check in case it's changed. Any airline/airport website will show you the liquids rules (which includes pastes eg toothpaste toiletries etc).

No problem checking in both ways online if you're only away a few days, think it's up to 15 days in advance or so.

Rules regarding carry on bags:

Strictly one item of cabin baggage per passenger (excluding infants) weighing up to 10kg with maximum dimensions of 55cm x 40cm x 20cm is permitted. (handbag, briefcase, laptop, shop purchases, camera etc.) must be carried in your 1 permitted piece of cabin baggage.

Those days are long long gone. Perhaps 3 years since any such flight was sold. The cheapest price now is around £10 as a promotion. This year the average prices are noticeably higher than ever before and if you last flew in the days of 1p flights then you may not have been aware of the baggage gestapo at the gate who may weigh your one closed item of cabin baggage into which your handbag must disappear and all your airport purchases with the whole thing to be strictly within the dimensions quoted and not a gramme over 10kg.

You may also find that you are shepherded through the gate and kept waiting in stairwells, corridors or outside on the apron so that not a minute of turnaround time is wasted.

Otherwise the service is the same, the aircraft are the same, and it runs on time.

But November is low season so you might get the flights a bit cheaper than the current Ryanair lowest prices of £9.99 or £12.

Usually the Dublin flights are included in the sale. As ever this cannot be guaranteed, but Dublin is one of the safer "Sale" routes to bank on. If you are travelling peak times (eg. Out Friday, back Sunday, or with a major sporting event) then sale fares might not as available, but personally I would wait if I was planning on November.

Their current sale is for flights upto October. Taking random days in Oct, Birmingham - Dublin, and virtually every single day (inc weekends) had flights available at the bottom sale fare of £12 with "free online check-in".

Thanks everyone. I may hold out a bit longer then. If they are doing sales for October now maybe it wont be too much longe before the November dates appear.
Im goign out midweek and returning weekend so the second of the flights i expect to pay a more for but with Dublin being so expensive im trying to save a bit here and there.

Just comparing a midweek to Dublin and weekend return in October to November.
The difference is only £5 each on the midweek and the same price for the weekend
