blackberry when abroad
Hi hope somebody can help
going to Greece for holidays. My daughter has a contract blackberry and is always texting and on facebook. She is on a contract with virgin mobile can anyone help me with regards to how it will work while we are away.
do I have to contact virgin to get some type of bolt on don't want to come home with a huge bill.

I have had this problem and ended up with huge bill. Make sure you get the internet turned off before you go! (Virgin do it for you) Blackberrys constantly update themselves so are always using the internet my bill for my son came to almost a £100 as I thought if the phone was switched off it would be ok, oh no it wasnt! If you are still ok with her texting you need to get them to turn international roaming on then as soon as she gets back ring them again to get it turned off. Hope this helps0

Is expensive, what is the point of the holiday if she is gonna waste time on facebook etc, there will be internet cafes over there, it seems an expensive game to treat the phone to a holiday abroad
