I'm actually quite happy with the sale. I ordered some sofas from Argos at the end of November. Unfortunately, they won't get here until February (84 day lead time!). I've just managed to pick up a much nicer set of sofas on Argos which dropped to half price over night with a much quicker lead time. Cancelling my original order as soon as Argos CS is open.In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?
It's time to make that change.

Anyone got any idea how to find out what an item is by its argos code?
Code is: 5335615
There's no pic on the website and no description. It's under DVD recorders and appears to be £39.99 (reduced from £79.99). Looks like it could be a Wharfedale DVD Recorder.
Don't know what it is, but I've reserved one at my local store. It's in stock there. In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?

I believe the Richer Sounds one is the DivX capable version whereas this is the HDMI version.

Just ordered a few Christmas decorations to pick up tommorow, about 6 pages of stuff and most not in stock, managed to grab 3 things out of teh two local stores. I tried about 70% of the Christmas decorations but most seem to be out of stock in my area. Still pleased I managed to get a few things

You may want to try your local B&Q for Christmas decs - I went in there yesterday and all trees/lights/decs/etc were 75% off!
I got an indoor fibre optic father christmas was £60 for £15, 3 x fibre optic houses was £20 for £5, and a snow globe £20 for £5 - real quality products which should last if stored properly lol0 -

You should wait a bit longer as they will reduce most of their Xmas stuff by at least 70% i reckon:)
For instance i got this Karoke Santa last year after Xmas for less than £25 and it's usually £100:)
They're not reduced at the moment as most of the stuff isn't.Darren0 -
Thanks I waited later last year and there was even less. Most of the Xmas stuff isnt in stock in any case could be just my area. I tried several times at B&Q before after christmas last year and year before, but I seem to not have any luck in getting any good deals.
I may try B&Q tommorow when I collect the Argos xmas at lease I can still use it this year.0
