Was looking at a camera that is already half-price (samsung Digimax S800) - if it appears on their sale pages, does it mean that it will be reduced even further? I note your comment about them getting ready before Christmas, but the prices shown (for the camera) is the price it has been all this week, not just since 22/12.

I suppose that I could buy now and then if it comes down, take the Christmas present back (OH understands saving money!) and buy at the new price.

Well looking at the clearance section of the website (here) It looks like they have loaded up all the clearance items but not the prices. Might be more useful than going through the jan sale section to some people.

Sorry - I didn't spot that until I went into town earlier - decided not to buy in case the price drops.

    Many thanks

You should pay the price it is when you pick it up, so if it goes down after you reserve it you pay the lower price. This was why asked earlier when could we reserve goods but collect after Xmas, that way you could reserve items now that will go down in the sale and collect them when the price has dropped.
  • I have reserved some items and now it is showing as to be collected by the end of the 26th December, 2006 (when sale is on!!!) - I am hoping that if they go down further in the sale I will be lucky and get my items cheaper than advertised at the moment!

you have until the end of business on the day that your reservation ends to pay for and collect your goods
Or until the staff decide its too good an offer and buy them for themselves, then tell you they can't find it when you go to collect. Happened to me too many times.
