Morrisons own brand batteries aren't too bad - 8 batteries for £1 they are.0

Toys-r-us do large packs of philips ones for about £7. I think you get a million AA ones for that
ok, ok, It's probably something like 32, and they're not too bad in my experience. Be an amateur! Professionals built the Titanic, amateurs built the Ark!!

Those battery shed rechargeables are expensive.
7dayshop have 4 x 2500 mAh AA's for 2.99:
