thanks for this spot - I use SVP all the time and have been trying to find a good way to buy AA batteries without breaking the bank - standard Duracells etc cost quite a bit.... so this is a great deal.
Need to buy a whole load of spare DVD-Rs as well so am going to wait until their next free shipping day... probably early in the new year.
good stuff.0 -
Thanks for the hotdeals link as I buy a lot from SVPDon't take life too seriously, no one gets out alive0

cheapest p&p = £4.49 so only cheap if your ordering quite a few.0

Broken record alert: the only very cheap batteries are rechargeables. Be a savvy moneysaver and spend a little bit more now for huge savings later, both to you and the environment. Think of all the toxic waste you create throwing away batteries.Time is an illusion - lunch time doubly so.0

& remember to dispose of used ones by lobbing them over into your neighbour's garden shrubs....plants luv 'em.
This was a public service announcement, brought to you by ASBO Services Inc©0 -
How about using NiMH's?
They're cheaper in the long run, don't need to dispose of them nearly as often.
Downside is that they're 1.2V instead of 1.5V, but most appliances will hardly notice the difference. With the larger capacities (mAh) becoming more and more common, runtimes between recharges are even longer.
From experience this... I run nitro RC cars, and if you don't use rechargeables, your battery bill will quickly soar.
(if you want to go really hightech try LiPo batteries... even longer runtimes, but require specialist chargers)0 -
Case out of stock now. Is there anything else that discounts postage. Thanks0

its only out of stock in red, still vailable in blue:rotfl:0
