Oh dear me ... talk about an over-reaction :o to an over-reaction! So what you're saying is someones' bil in virtual world was sacked for theft (that he admitted) and because the store followed it up to the letter of the law you're no longer going to shop there!

That's nuts (dunno if the chocolate was though) :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Totally agree - over-reaction on part of the store was phenomenal but maybe that's their policy as if the employees sign up to that as part of their T&C's hardly fair to complain afterwards. Hopefully bil learnt lesson and can find work elsewhere but be more thoughtful in future.

No, I've just lost my card and can't be bothered to get another - our branch sells cr+p anyway and parking is a pain. :rotfl: :D

if you have a thief as an employee it's reasonable to assume they have been stealing on more than one occasion not just the one spotted on cctv.

Think it is unreasonable to ever assume anything - even in a Court of Law!

Last week my next door neighbour pranged my car - is it reasonable to assume she also put the other ten dents in my car?

Blimey! If you added up the entire stock of chocolate flavoured confectionary in our local MATALAN store, I doubt it would total £5.00
