    Hi

The reason for starting the thread and asking the question was to get some inspiration for myself and my wife to do more stuff next year, new skills and save more... so I am bumping this thread to get some more comments. Cheers...

I'm going to take a 10 week sewing course at my local college. I bought a sewing machine in the sales and can't wait to get cheap fabrics and make gifts for family and friends and soft furnishings for the house. It's £60 for the course plus materials.

  • I am definitely going to learn to sew and to quilt (the aim there is to give everyone quilted bedspreads next Christmas and to make the younger children's clothes lol!).

Erm... I'm sure I had more things on my list. I think I may have to come back to it after a think/school run/housework etc

I'm going to try to make sense of this betting lark.
I've even printed off the how to from this list and read it and read it, and I still can't seem to get my head around it...
