  • I'm going to become absolutely amazing at asp.net or PHP (geeky programming languages) and write an idea I've had for a killer app - well.. it's a niche app, but one that could make me lots of money. Oh.. looks like Pailne Fowler has died.. at least we dont have to put up with her moaning.. just got the three drum beats too, so no chance of an ambulance coming to her rescue..

    Vicar of Dibley up next..

I'm going to learn magic tricks as well.. or better still write the killer app, make the money and then learn to fly somewhere so my Christmas wont be as tragic as it currently is..

There is only so much fun that come from scrabble.. I suppose I should go back downstairs and be socialble.. Bah Humbug! :j  ;)

DIET.....five portions of fruit or veg (all home grown or foraged) plus tinned fish, or cheese. Therefore no cooking costs. Gonna make it happen. Er...is that a skill...
  • Amongst my many ideas, I fancy learning how to set up a web-site. I have the chance to do it for free ( Company has already paid for these courses) I'm just going to have to make time.

  • I'm teaching myself website design too, for our various hobbies (genealogy, allotment etc). We also want to investigate breadmaking as we're going to commit to a wheatfree diet at least for a while to see if we feel better on it, and the shop-bought wheatfree/glutenfree stuff we've tasted has been uniformly vile. I've just started a 'teach myself Biblical Hebrew' course for our Bible studies, to go with the Greek we already know.

  • I fancy learning metalwork, like metal fabrication, and blacksmithing, have done a welding course already.

Also fancy a crack at learning how to use a lathe, and mill.Hopefully I can find a course locally.
Most people overlook opportunity as it comes dressed in overalls, and looks like hard work.

I want to get my Microsoft certification upgraded to Systems Engineer 2003. Currently i am Microsoft certified systems administrator 2000. All exams paid for and i have sat most of the courses already. Just a case of going over the material again!

Then maybe i can find a job with better prospects and a whoppingly big pay packet!! :D

I wouldn't mind learning how to do simple jobs on the car i.e. brake pads etc.

Another thing I want to do is get better at plastering, I need more practice... done some this year already and was quite happy but it took me an age to do and I wasted alot of plaster. So, get better at that.
