I doubt there is a better or bigger camp in their portfolio. I've been with my ten year old twins seven times in the last five years and it will be first choice again this year...they have spent literally millions on it in past few years.

Clean though very big, mind. The golf course is nice, there's a decent spa there, swimming pool is good and if you fancy the beach, it's a smooth sandy one although a couple of times, there has been that green seaweed stuff there.

You are quite close to cliffs but just keep an eye on him/her and you'll be fine.

Handy to a big Tesco too for stocking up as you go in, close to Exeter and near Crealy for a day out.

I love it there and have enjoyed some of the finest times of my life there.

Thank you very much. It does look like a fantastic park on their website and quite pricey too if you book privately. Fingers crossed I manage to get in. I can book online, got a priority letter as I went to Parkdean Warmwell in May this year with Sun Holidays and that was nice too. Lodges are spacious and nice and sturdy. I've also gone to Looe Bay which is great. The park is abit small but location is fantastic and Ruda is nice, as the beach there is absolutely stunning and only a small 5 min walk. I've not tried Haven yet but heard good things. :)

Im a bit fed up this time, normally the sun have sent me a letter by now, with the code and web address on, but alas no. As we have been away I haven't been collecting the tokens in the 'old fashioned' way and was hoping to come home yesturday to the letter from the sun. Looks like we are going to miss out on this occasion. :(

Hi does anyone have any favourites in the Isle of Wight that they could recommend? In return if you are looking at Somerset I really recommend Lakeside - a charming site, good evening entertainment, helpful staff and good location Thanks :)

Not that I can reccommend, but I would personally advise anyone to stay away from Thorness bay - If you expect any kind of customer service/entertainment on site. Everyone goes to bed at 10pm as they are bored - and the beach next to the site is clay and rocks, can't even be walked on - no good for kids playing/sunbathing etc.

Im sure there are those who have been there and had a great time, but not for me. I like more from a holiday than a postcard musem..

You're very welcome indeed. I'm now feeling the pressure that the camp lives up to the billing I've given it....:D

Maybe my judgement is clouded because we had the most fantastic time there. I'd just split up with my girlfriend and took the boys away on holiday in the October half-term. The weather, considering the time of year, was great and a couple of days were quite warm, high sixties perhaps.

Anyway we had a great time in the pool, the golf course, Funworks amusement arcade, the entertainment complex and the beach. It taught me that I could indeed manage to look after the boys over a longer time - I have now had them every weekend for more than six years.:D

Really hope you enjoy it, please look back in after you've booked and tell us if you got it..
