Duncan Smith urges firms to hire unemployed Britons

DH worked on a farm. The farm owner needed 2 other full time staff members. Advertised the job nationally for NINE months. Wage was way above agricultural wages, acommodation was offered as part of job (caravan moving onto cottage being renovated) 40hr week. Only applicants were 2 lads from Poland.
There is high unemployment in the South West and it took 9 months to fill the job.
In my village there had been a job advertised for 6 months. cleaning the toilets and emptying the bins. 18 hrs a week. The job is easy, the actual work is only about 5 hrs the rest is just sat in the "cleaners den". A Polish lad started last week and the toilets have never been so clean.
And yet BABs still bloody complain about "foreigners taking our jobs"
