Best Credit Card Exchange Rates for Euro Car Hire

As we have to pay for our rental car hire in Spain with a credit card, I wondered if there were any credit cards which offered a better exchange rate when you are charged for the car hire in euros in Spain back into Sterling or are they all the same ?

The Car Hire broker informs me that the price will depend on our bank's exchange rate and as I have a few credit cards I wondered if one was any better than another ;)

that would depend on which credit cards you have ;) The sticky above you for 'Cheap Travel Money - Top Cards For Spending Abroard) would be a useful read.

Have just looked as suggested and I do have a Post Office credit card which has no foreign currency exchange rate fees on purchases which is one of the cards suggested. So looks like I have one of the best ones. :T

    Thanks for that :)
