    Thanks all for the comments on my car loan - nearly debt free again. Last time it lasted for less than a week I think before I decided I needed to buy the car!

    I was trying to finish the car money so I could purchase an electric wheelchair for J. However her dad and my dad gave us some money which actually covered the cost of it, so I got it on a card and will be paying it back soon. I was only going to have to cover the cost of the in car charger which was about £157 but we have returned it as it wouldn't have worked in my car! So should be totaslly debt free by September!

    Pooky - We have already got some Feliway on order, so hopefully that should arrive soon.

    I'm sure there must be some nice estate agents, my friend is married to one. But 'generally' they seem a bit slick, smug and good at lying. That's probably 'good negotiating skills'.

    People seem to believe that confidence is competence. This means overly self-confident people go further than those with a bit more realistic view about themselves.

    I've not found estate agents to be particularly good at lying, and I tend to the slightly gullible...

    Unfortunately for CamClegg, (or rather their parties) nobody voted for them when there *were* jobs. Indeed I remember the election before last, when the parties were competing to out-spend one another. Labour did make a big thing of the fact they were spending £5,000,000,000 more per year than the Conservatives. They got in on the strength of that. Now the credit card bill is in, and it is brown-trousers all round.

    So doing things when everything is crap is what CamClegg are pretty much stuck with. The sick problem has been needing to be sorted for quite a while. Up to going to MSE meets, I knew quite a few people "on long-term sick", but MSE is when I met the first genuine ones. Keeping them "on the sick" may make the unemployment figures look good - but the country pays for the extras. The country is broke. All these "cuts" are just a con to try to disguise it, and to keep the gig going for as long as possible, just in case a miracle turns up.
