Surely THAT sock is not the sock in question - don't think it's big enough for the job. Incidently why does a radio (which is an inanimate object) need to keep warm?

Colour did not feature in my decision. The review was good, apart from the battery and they had it in white or black. My kitchen is white with yellow units. I did refuse to buy a car once in 'racing green' but it was the same colour as my school uniform (I wasn't buying it when I was wearing my school uniform just incase you're confused!)

They now seem to have the radio in black so I guess I'll be buying it in black!

It was a little bitty radio off and on this size images?q=tbn:ANd9GcSQHgzFtQuS7gx2agAGl6az1BUdZ0BfHRNT_lbLOK3b0Awr0Lh6
I think it was an ipod sock, and it has a little lanyard attached.

I bought my dad this one http://www.amazon.co.uk/Roberts-ECO3BK-Ecologic-Digital-Battery/dp/B001IKHFY0/ref=sr_1_12?ie=UTF8&qid=1310242877&sr=8-12
precisely because the battery life was good - and guess what?

He never uses it on batteries.

He has however, bounced it off the floor without anything dropping off, so it is well made.

Doesn't that make it a yellow kitchen?

You took it off before you went in? What did the salesman say when he picked his jaw up?

Evening all, hope everyone is having a good weekend!

We had a birthday do for DS1, he will be 8 on Wednesday coming. So booked the community hall and he and 7 of his friends played footie for 2 hours. They all had fun and I didn't have mad excited children running riot through my home so it was a result all round.

It is now wine o'clock so going settle down with a nice chilled glass of white.

Hi! B and Z, have had a glass of white and now I am chilled. My oldest 2 are still not in bed, in fact still playing in the street, but I can see them and they are safe will get them in soon but am enjoying the quiet. DS2 is asleep in his chair so will shift him to bed shortly.

It is nice sometimes to just enjoy the quiet, telly is rubbish tonite but I don't care, gonna mooch round the boards and check out what's happening.
