Virgin retentions?

HI All
Im with virgin broadband £17.,99 plan, and have been paying for the last 2 years roughly.
I've just entered into buying a new house, due to be built by next june, and i really have to curb my costs.
DO they have a retentions team, to offer cheaper deals to stay? Anyone have any experience of this?

They should have a cancellations dept.If you call them and ask for a mac to transfer to say Tiscali (£9.99 per month for 3 months/£12.99 thereafter).If they value you as a customer, they will reduce your monthly charge by at least a fiver a month.
