    Hi US4
    Not much on the website.
The lack of information will make me steer clear of these - at least for the time being.

    Cheers

Especially when you see how much detailed information they want us to give them!

also by the wording it looks like its only to other juize users.
Copy from one, it’s plagiarism; copy from two, it’s research.

People that know more about gprs and wap than me have said that they will be a cheaper way of sending text.

What distinguishes this? It looks like it's only halfway through launch so difficult to tell.
  • I've had some contact with the Juize people and think you'll find they're kosher. They use GPRS, which is apparently a much cheaper way of transmitting text messages. However, you can only send your free texts to others who are subscribed to Juize too. Also, Fresh don't yet support GPRS and 3 won't allow anyone else to use their GPRS network.
  • Hi all,

It looks like this service is very much a half-way house between traditional sms and e-mail. The major plus-points I can see are being able to send an unlimited amount of "messages".

The major draw-back however, is that it's not possible to have the one thing that sms thrives on - the ability to send a message and know it will arrive on another users phone within a few seconds. With the juize application, each person will need to log onto gprs to check their "mailbox" to see if they've had any messages.

I can see a use for users who do not have access to an e-mail-type service, but I'd be frustrated having to check my account every few mins to see if I'd received a message.

Just thought I'd drop in my 2p!
