Happy Birthday L M Hart!
Right you gorgeous debt busters, I have some PAD's!
424.09 Euro's/ 371.03 GBP to the savings account
60 Euro's/ 52.49 GBP to the savings tin
So, a total PAD of 423.52 GBP for me.
More to follow in due course. I haven't made a payment to my CC yet, as I only have 82.67 available to pay towards it, and I have a feeling the low interest offer runs out soon/has run out. So....I don't want to make a PAD, in case I pay too much and then don't have enough left to meet the minimum payment (statement isn't usually until about 4th each month).
I know it sounds as if my savings account is very healthy, but.........there was only 200 in there before hand as I keep having to pay other bills like council tax and water and health stuff. I just had to pay out 208 of that for a water bill for my old apartment here in NL. Even though I told them I moved over a year ago, it took them that long to issue the invoice to the correct address!
Anyway, OH and I are due to holiday in Somerset in 2 weeks time, and we still have everything to book and pay for (though probably not accomodation as we will stay with family). But, I will still need flight money (150), hire care money (not sure - my share should be less than 100 though), and then need some spending money. So, I was thinking that, as I am not going to UK for Christmas this year, that I would use the money I have saved in the pot so far to go towards this instead. What do you guys think?February wins: Theatre tickets0 -
Happy BDAY LMH - and please don't feel too down you may not be able to afford to do much but you are in a better position than before!
PAD £12.41 towards MINT cc.
Found out how much my tooth will cost yesterday !!!!!! Still not sure whether to have to work done or just have it extracted!!!
Extraction wouldn't necessarily work out easier or cheaper in the long run.
Depending on where it is, you will probably then need a false tooth, and that comes with it's own set of problems.
If you're unsure, why don't you post on the health boards. There are a few dentists on there who should be able to outline the pros and cons for you.February wins: Theatre tickets0 -

What would you otherwise use the money you have saved for? I'd say use it, but that's just me!Don't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)0 -

Evening everyone
Not been able to PAD for a few days as too near payday:o, however, a OH's latest pay cheque just cleared so this evening I have paid £83 to Barclaycard, bringing this one down under £2000 for the first time in years!!:jEven better, if things continue as they are at present it should stay this way - usually whenever I've made progress on this card I've then transferred another balance on to it as it has a low life of balance interest rate so I've always used it when the 0% on other cards has run out, so ended up feeling like I'm not getting anywhere. This time it's going to be different!Every penny's a prisoner
PADding is addictive
