Thank you to skaps for counting up last month and thank you FF for doing this month.
I have decided to take the plunge and pay off my loan in December. I am both excited and nervous at this. I have been in debt for so long and I am using my emergency fund towards clearing it. I am doing it in steps and the final step will be the middle of December.
Major (for me) PAD for today towards final clearance £1,151.39 (I was shaking as I was writing the cheque). I don't normally update my sig until my regular loan payment has come off on 6th of month but can't wait that long this month
Not sure if I am shaking with nerves now or with the cold
Well done, Girlatplay :TAfternoon all,
Still waiting to hear how much the house issues are going to cost so small PAD fro me of £7.21.
Have joined the make £10 a day thread to try and boost things - getting a little confused with when to count stuff but will give it a go!!
MinnieMe - have you checked if the house issues are possibly covered by the house insurance? We had an issue last month and whilst it looked on paper that we weren't covered we called them anyway and a visit from the loss adjuster ment we just paid for our £100 excess, rather than a bill for £4k _pale_
I've also joined the £10 a day thread this month but not been brave enough to go for the £10 and am aiming for £5Goodness knows how I'm going to do it, though!
When you look at it like that - it makes sense! It's the determination to do a PAD each day, however small, that makes me want to do it more.
Exactly!Even if it is just a couple of pennies each day it still gets the balance (and interest) down faster.
