Hello all! Just catching up on xfactor. I'm trying to take my mind off the fact an old friend (admittedly one I haven't seen for years) has been diagnosed with cancer, so sad, I can't stop thinking about it. :(

Anyhoo....PAD-ing also helps to take my mind off it.

PAD £1.30 today to Lloyds TSB CC.

Sorry to hear about your friend. With some relationships it doesn't matter how long it is or how often you're in touch, they're still special. Big hugs x

    I've been Money Tipped!
Hi Everyone. I would like to join. I don't have any store cards or credit cards but i do have a large loan which is £8000. I pay £180 a month by dd. The APR is very low. How would this principle work for me seeing how i can't deposit the odd fiver against the loan. I'll have to check the paperwork but i doubt i'd beable to make random large deposits either.
Am i better off using this method to save rather than pay off my debt?

It's up to you, might be worth a check with your loan provider as they may take odd payments. If you are sure you won't spend the savings then pad to save and make an extra payment once a month or something?

Yep, you definitely need to check with your lender. It's worth a 'phone call just to clarify what they will accept. Otherwise it would be a case of saving to pay it off in a lump sum.
