£5 from me to virgin cc please skaps! :hello: and thanks for your services last month gap!!
i'm having a motivation dip... still plodding on with the pads but at the moment they seem completely insignificant compared with the mountain of debt i have... and after being so good for so long, now i want to get my hair coloured! i'm going for a haircut this afternoon (first time for AGES, tried cutting it myself a few times but it looks scraggly and horrible) but i'm really tempted to splash out on some colour as well... i've already overspent a bit since last payday...
can everyone please tell me it's a stupid idea and that i should pad the money instead!YNAB trialler. Debt at 2nd LBM, Sep 2015: £24,162. <swear>0 -

How about a compromise, have the hair cut at the hair dressers but dye your hair yourself at home.MFW 2016 No 68 £1300/£8500 No new toiletries Cook sth different0 -

that's a very good and sensible suggestion... i didn't think of it cos i have dark hair and want to go a bit lighter without bleaching - i thought that could only be done in a salon, but after a bit of googling (after your suggestion!) it looks like i can do it at home! so that's what i shall do.yay!
thank you!!! i knew i could count on these forumsYNAB trialler. Debt at 2nd LBM, Sep 2015: £24,162. <swear>0 -

back with a brand new haircut! unfortunately the dye-in-a-box didn't work
it was supposed to come out a reddish brown and came out exactly the same colour as before, very dark brown! in fact it's a surprisingly accurate colour match to my own hair...! oh well, at least it's shinier and the greys are all covered :P
