£1.32 for me today to bl**dy barclaycardIt's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0

£4.68 from me to the overdraft today.
Can't wait for Friday - it's payday and my birthday!
happy belated birthday Mrs. B.....
I was going to skirt make this pm now I think I may PJ....feeling a tad stuff from my economical cheese, carrot and cous cous lunch....not like there's enough to do just pottering anywaysmisskaytee wrote: » Hi Padders.
Had a busy and expensive couple of weeks with the kids being off school and OH off work too.
My bank account is clearly showing a lack of pads, so although its not much, im going to get padding away again
Todays PAD £1 :T
a LESSON LEARN ~ Even if its only a penny, making a payment a day keeps me focused on my finances.
Its good to be back

PAD for me today £1.00 to savings account
thanks Erme cant wait to now get below £2000 should be 2 1/2 months if all goes to plan. (never works for me lol)
Yeah but my debt is more like 3K by the time you add the macbook and the OD....
But I figure when I have a loan free month (cos I get paid 4 weekly) I will put extra on the OD....
I just need to get my tickets home to Ma's at xmas for £30 which I should dv be able to do if I book @ the right time...
Sorry I've been mia...had a bad few weeks but now back on track and some numpty thought she was doing so well - then managed (don't know how) to blow £30 in a matter of days and then go back on the cigs without budgeting for them - so my poor poor OD is very sick right now but praise God it's big Giro day tomorrow and all I have to spreadsheet for is Gaelic Classes (that I'm getting half price) and like deed poll as I'm changing my name back to what I was christened at xmas...only adding a few middle names...I've done my research and by the time you have it all stamped and legalised it's as cheap to go to a normal solicitor and get it done (cos I already have one deed poll) as what is it is to get it done online (with the same firm that did the BB deed polls the other year)....
So yeah this is me...LOL...spreadsheet to do and praying Dr. C changes my AD's next month (or end of this month) so I can finally eat less and like lose some of this weight :T

Today is a milestone day in my life, its my 25th wedding anniversary,
I have now been paying a mortgage 27 years ( i was 18 when we got a mortgage) im sick to the back teeth of paying it now and its one of the things i want gone.
Since my lbm in jan and since i set up my snowball account, £10,009 has been paid of 2 loans and mortgage. no wonder we never have any money lol, :eek:wont that be nice when that is our own and we could celebrate our anniversaries in style.
OCh yeah....and you know you'll get there hun...Hugs and blessings
Had a shock last night - i used the snowball calculator for the 1st time
Rather than allowing it to depress me, i shall use it as motivation
£10 HFC
£10 Egg
£10 Bclays loan
£7 Cap 1
£5 Cahoot
£5 Vanquis
27p Savings
TOTAL £47.27 please
Where is this? Can someoone point me in the right direction for this pleasemisskaytee wrote: »Stashed a crisp £5 note in my secret hiding place today
Stashing away That money reminds me of when i used to take the payments at a slimming club i went to, an elderly lady used to come along, she was proberly in her late 70s, and whenever i gave her a £5 note in her change she would fold it up as small as you could possibly make it and say "Thats for my running away fund"....God only knows were she was planning on running away too at touching 80! :rotfl:
The outer hebrides to set up a croft with her and the sky and the sheep...Remember I just took my Ma backpacking for the first time in her 60's...or else she could be saving for a round the world cruise :A....
Ma loved it and now won't go back to her previous luggage. She just got a cheap 60 litre rucksack from Argos but found it so much easier to carry than her previous (for google she has osteoporosis and osteo arthritus) baggage she's converted....she is amazed how much she could carry on her back and how it helped her posture :A...

If I thought I was addicted to this thread before, since yesterday I think I have been on permanently! I really shouldn't bother logging off.
Meant to say, thank you for all the well wishes
Och you're very welcome....Hugs
you're an inspiration GAP....and a valuable member of the board. No don't bother logging off tee hee
I Know!:j It's not as exciting as it sounds though ~ its just to chart me paying myself back after trading in my gas guzzling car for a 'green one' ~ I was going to use my emergency pot to fund the shortfall (£2200 roughly) but then went all bl**dy-minded on myself and decided I didn't want to lose the interest! So have been frantically juggling interest free overdrafts / credit card payment dates etc and scrabbling away every spare penny I can lay my grubby mitts on!
Maybe we should start a support group to cope with our PAD dependancies ~ my name is saorsie and I am addicted to PaDing anyone?
-s-
Yeah me too....addicted to padding thread should be our next title when we run the cours with this one I reckon...I'll second that....or PAD (payment a day) addicts.....
LOL

Afternoon All
Didn't think I would make a pad today but managed £2 to the a/c, £1 to mom and £1 to cc
£4 total for me today
Thanks PuzzleBoM 100/2000
CC2 100/3100 CC1 400/4100
OH 510/45000 -
:j Not PADded for a few days while things settled down financially but now have a mega pad of £1500 to cc to post. Also been promised OH's payment that we've been waiting for will be paid tomorrow and if so there will be some major PADding going on this week that may even clear one of my debts for good. Only thing is I'm trying not to jump the gun and make sure the money is clear in my bank account before it goes back out again. Plus I'm so used to struggling without hardly a penny to our names that I'm paranoid that I'm getting the sums wrong and I've missed something so I'm checking and douible checking figures before PADDing:rotfl:Every penny's a prisoner
PADding is addictive
