    £2 for me please :D
  • Hi

I have a slight problem and thought I would ask the collective wisdom of this thread.

How can I make the snowball calc work for me when one of my debts has 2 different interest rates?

I know from the minimum calc on here that my Barclaycard will take 35 years and 10 months to pay back and I will pay £13,575 in interest if I only pay minimum payments.

But my Halifax is still on the old rate of calculating minimum payment so I have to cover the interest and charges plus £5 every month so my debt literally reduces at £5 every month and according to my calculations it will take about 37 years to pay back  but I am not sure what the total interest will be.

I have about £850 being paid back at 6.95% and £1371.78 being paid back at 17.95% so although the interest is lower it will take longer to pay back so should I make my PAD's to Halifax or Barclaycard?
