Hugs to all who need it, hi-fives to those who are celebrating, and good morning to everyone else! :rotfl:

Today I was ridiculously tired. You know how it is: I watched some videos on youtube last night and before I knew it, it was 2am!! I had to be up and out of the house by 7.30 -- somehow having just 1 hour less sleep than usual left me totally zonked. Then I come home from work and I'm fine! I've done no baking in the last two days, but I took the plunge and turned my 'disaster flour' into bread two nights ago. It looks a bit odd, as if the hard crust has fallen over sideways, but after putting it back in the oven this evening to cook the edges I'm looking forward to some lovely toast tomorrow morning!

Tomorrow is set aside for baking and cooking: three loaves of bread (final test of the three Kenwoods to decide which one to keep) plus I bought some chuck steak to mince for a cottage pie. Then I have a load of vegetables to slice and shred and place into small bags for the freezer, plus making, dividing, and freezing some pizza dough in the same fashion. The theory is that I can defrost it if I'm too tired after work to cook, and need good food, and fast. If I'm up to it, I'll try making some Chelsea Buns. Thank goodness I now have a Kenwood Chef. Oh, and I have a ton load of washing to do as well. Wish me luck! :)

    Good morning all.

Hugs to anyone that needs them.

Okayish day here. Just bumbling about, made falafels for the freezer with leftover chickpeas. Will have to nip to the shop for a few bits then hopefully not till monday:).

OH hurt his back last night but he got up this morning and thank goodness it seems to be okay, just a little tender.

Very proud feeling from last night still of our DD15 getting a trophy at the awards night for Art & Design and it has her name engraved on it and everything.

Hopefully will get a walk later and maybe even try a half hour on the cross trainer.

Dinner tonight is baked potatoes and Chickpea Curry.

    Hi all,

Sorry to see so many with worries, will be thinking of you all -JackieO,JackieG and Lou xxx

    RedRuby-hope its a great prom.

I have the house to myself today so I'm making the most of it and blitzing.I bought some vacuum storage bags so I can make the most of the wardrobe space-hopefully our winter duvet will soon be half the size :D
I want to make space for the pile of baby stuff that is expanding weekly.I have permission to chuck loads of stuff from DS wardrobe too-we've already rearranged the room so there is room for crib/cot.Realistically he is not going to be able to get his own house until he is back at work (hopefully not long off now) and saved up some more money so we need to be organised here.Babys mum still wants to share the care. She sent me an invite to her baby shower in a month, but said I dont need to buy anything.Like thats going to happen! I'm not having anyone say that I'm baby's other granny but not bought anything :D:rotfl:
Anyway, best crack on and make the most of my time.Tea is chicken curry, which I made yesterday, just need rice later.Have the best day you can :)

    Medsdemon- well done to DD:j
Sistercas- just seen your post, you must be frantic.Sending positive thoughts for DH and hugs for you

    Afternoon All

So sorry so many of you are going through such a rough time at the moment with poorly relations, not sure what to say but try to stay positive for them. Your love and friendship is what they need right now.

It was the end of term yesterday, school finished at 1pm and we all went out for lunch and a few refreshments. I collected my car this morning! I have today off both jobs so just relaxing, will start on the house on Monday, we are looking after a friend's dog from tomorrow till Sunday so not much point in doing anything till he's gone.

Washing on the line, it's a lovely day here, sunny most of the time and a light breeze - must be the first day for ages that it hasn't rained (yet). Have cut the grass too.

    Take care all. XX
